The PTA meets throughout the school year to plan events and activities that are undertaken to enhance parent and teacher participation in school-wide projects.
The PTA shall be organized by, and its membership open to all parents and teachers of the students attending the School for the purpose of promoting better communication and building community through planned activities. The focus of PTA activity shall be to organize events and projects that seek to provide its members the opportunity to contribute to the general welfare of the School. Funds raised by the PTA will be donated to the School in support of specific programs for students/parents/teachers or for the School facilities. The Board of Directors recognizes the positive contribution that can be made by an active Parent-Teacher Association and values the important support role of this association.
Parents are encouraged to join as volunteers in ASA’s active PTA!
