Making the World a Better Place, One Project at a Time!

This week, our campus came alive with enthusiasm as High School students and 8th graders gathered for our annual Service Learning Fair. Representatives and volunteers from inspiring local organizations set up stations alongside student leaders to showcase their impactful community work. Our students eagerly explored the booths, discovered new causes, and signed up for projects they are passionate about contributing to this school year.

This year, students can get involved across seven key areas: Education & Mentoring, Inclusion & Disability, Health & Solidarity, The Environment, Sports & Holistic Development, Vulnerable Community Support, and On-Campus Volunteering.

At ASA, community service is far more than completing required hours—it is a core pillar of our holistic education. We believe true learning means developing respect, empathy, and a lasting commitment to our broader community. Through service learning, our students transform into responsible, compassionate citizens driven to lead social action and live out our ASA vision every single day.

Serving isn’t just about giving—it is a journey of personal growth, teamwork, and leadership. As our students step into these roles, we look forward to seeing the positive impact they will create both within our school and across Paraguay. Esta semana, nuestro campus se llenó de entusiasmo con la participación de los estudiantes de High School y de 8º grado en nuestra Feria Anual de Aprendizaje-Servicio. Representantes y voluntarios de inspiradoras organizaciones locales instalaron stands junto a líderes estudiantiles para dar a conocer su impactante labor comunitaria. Nuestros estudiantes exploraron las estaciones, descubrieron nuevas causas y se inscribieron en los proyectos con los que desean comprometerse durante este año escolar.

Este año, los estudiantes podrán involucrarse en siete áreas clave: Educación y Mentoría, Inclusión y Discapacidad, Salud y Solidaridad, Medio Ambiente, Deportes y Desarrollo Integral, Apoyo a Comunidades Vulnerables y Voluntariado en el Campus.

En el ASA, el servicio comunitario es mucho más que cumplir con horas requeridas: es un pilar fundamental de nuestra educación integral. Creemos que el verdadero aprendizaje implica desarrollar respeto, empatía y un compromiso duradero con nuestra comunidad. A través del aprendizaje-servicio, nuestros estudiantes se transforman en ciudadanos responsables y compasivos, motivados a liderar la acción social y a vivir la visión del ASA cada día.
