International Day of Women and Girls in Science
We're excited to share that the International Day of Women and Girls in Science is approaching on February 11th! At ASA, we're preparing to commemorate this event. The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is an annual event recognized by the United Nations General Assembly. Its purpose is to advocate for the complete and equitable involvement of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines.
This day also serves as a reminder of the invaluable contributions made by women and girls in the field of science, and we're so fortunate to have a group of talented and dedicated women and girls within our ASA community who are actively shaping the landscape of STEAM through really cool projects.
From our enthusiastic students engaged in experiments and coding projects to our educators fostering curiosity and pushing boundaries, the efforts of these individuals are truly remarkable.

¡Nos complace compartir que el Día Internacional de la Mujer y la Niña en la Ciencia se acerca: el 11 de febrero! En ASA nos estamos preparando para conmemorar este evento. El Día Internacional de las Mujeres y las Niñas en la Ciencia es un evento anual reconocido por la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas. Su propósito es abogar por la participación completa y equitativa de las mujeres en las disciplinas de Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería y Matemáticas (STEM).
Este día también sirve como recordatorio de las invaluables contribuciones realizadas por mujeres y niñas en el campo de la ciencia, y somos muy afortunados de contar con un grupo de mujeres y niñas talentosas y dedicadas dentro de nuestra comunidad ASA que están dando forma activamente al panorama de la ciencia. STEAM a través de proyectos realmente interesantes.
Desde nuestros estudiantes entusiastas que participan en experimentos y proyectos de codificación hasta nuestros educadores que fomentan la curiosidad y superan los límites, los esfuerzos de estas personas son realmente notables.
