Gator Highlight: Nicolás Varela is a South American Champion!

We are thrilled and incredibly proud to share a monumental achievement for Paraguay and our ASA family!

Our 10th-grade student, Nicolás Varela, has crowned himself South American Champion with the National U15 Basketball Team. Paraguay secured 1st place in the continental tournament, earning an official spot to compete in the 2027 FIBA U16 AmeriCup. Making this achievement even more special, ASA's very own basketball coach, Manuel Ríos, served as Assistant Coach for the national team, helping guide Paraguay to continental victory!

Representing both our country and ASA on the international stage, Nicolás and Coach Manuel have demonstrated extraordinary dedication, skill, and leadership. Achieving a continental championship is a historic milestone, and we couldn't be prouder.

Congratulations to Nicolás and Coach Manuel! Your ASA community celebrates this triumph with you!

¡Nos llena de orgullo compartir un logro monumental para el Paraguay y para toda nuestra familia ASA!
