Celebrating On-Time Success: G7 & G8 Show Remarkable Improvement!

Congratulations to G7 and G8 students, staff, and families for decreasing the total number of tardies 41% in the third quarter compared with the second quarter! And even more impressive, no MS students appeared on the excessive tardy list last week... not one!  That's a first for the entire school year.

We are seeing these positive results since implementing the phone-free school policy alongside an attendance probation system for students with repeated and excessive tardies. This matters because when students are in class on time, we make the most out of every available opportunity to learn. Congratulations, and keep up the strong effort - it's working!

¡Felicitaciones a los estudiantes, el personal y las familias de G7 y G8 por reducir el número total de tardanzas en un 41% durante el tercer trimestre en comparación con el segundo! Y aún más impresionante, ningún estudiante de Escuela Media apareció en la lista de tardanzas excesivas la semana pasada... ¡ni uno! Es la primera vez en todo el año escolar.

Estamos viendo estos resultados positivos desde que implementamos la política de escuela sin teléfonos celulares, junto con un sistema de prueba de asistencia para estudiantes con tardanzas repetidas y excesivas. Esto es importante porque cuando los estudiantes llegan a clase a tiempo, aprovechamos al máximo cada oportunidad disponible para aprender. ¡Felicitaciones y sigan con el gran esfuerzo! ¡Está funcionando!
