Family Literacy Month

November is Family Literacy Month, and we’re excited to celebrate with you! This special month is all about nurturing a love of reading and learning, while strengthening the bonds that connect us as families and a school community. Throughout November, we’ll be hosting weekly literacy activities designed to engage students and families in fun and meaningful ways.

One of the highlights will be our Family Reading Bingo — a take-home activity that encourages families to read and learn together. It’s a simple and enjoyable way to share stories, spark conversations, and make lasting memories.

More information about the Bingo activity will be sent home soon. Students can return their completed cards during their library time — no extra steps needed from you! Just encourage your child to participate, and they’ll have the chance to win some fun prizes along the way.

Noviembre es el Mes de la Literatura en Familia, ¡y estamos muy emocionados de celebrarlo con ustedes! Este mes especial está dedicado a fomentar el amor por la lectura y el aprendizaje, mientras fortalecemos los lazos familiares y construimos una comunidad escolar unida.

Durante todo el mes, tendremos actividades semanales relacionadas con la lectura diseñadas para que los estudiantes y sus familias disfruten y aprendan juntos.

Uno de los eventos principales será nuestro Bingo de Lectura en Familia, una actividad para llevar a casa que promueve momentos divertidos y significativos a través de la lectura compartida.

Muy pronto enviaremos más información sobre esta actividad. Los estudiantes podrán entregar sus tarjetas de bingo durante el horario de biblioteca — ¡no necesitan hacer nada más! Solo animen a sus hijos a participar y tendrán la oportunidad de ganar divertidos premios.
