Empathy in Action: ASA Students Volunteer at Operation Smile Mission

Our students recently demonstrated incredible empathy and dedication while volunteering during the 2025 Operation Smile Mission. They took on various roles, serving as translators, ushers, and children's entertainers, while also serving meals to parents and companions awaiting their child's surgery.

This hands-on experience not only prepared them for real-world challenges but also helped instill the values of empathy, respect, and responsibility through service to others outside our community. We are so proud of our students for their hard work and for representing ASA with such kindness and commitment.

Nuestros estudiantes demostraron recientemente una empatía y dedicación increíbles durante su voluntariado en la misión de Operación Sonrisa 2025. Asumieron diversas funciones, como traductores, acomodadores y animadores infantiles, además de servir comidas a padres y acompañantes que esperaban la cirugía de sus hijos.

Esta experiencia práctica no solo los preparó para los desafíos del mundo real, sino que también les ayudó a inculcar los valores de la empatía, el respeto y la responsabilidad a través del servicio a otros fuera de nuestra comunidad. Estamos muy orgullosos de nuestros estudiantes por su arduo trabajo y por representar al ASA con tanta amabilidad y compromiso.
