4th Grade Elementary Art Adventures

Last week, our young artists splashed into watercolors and practiced how to spot shapes and turn them into drawings. To warm up for our new Folklore Day watercolor unit, we had a muffin challenge!  

Students could design the funniest, most creative, or most realistic. After sharing which muffin stood out the most, we ended the activity the sweetest way possible—by enjoying a real muffin together. Yummy art and yummy snacks!

La semana pasada, nuestros jóvenes artistas se sumergieron en la acuarela y practicaron cómo identificar formas y convertirlas en dibujos. Para prepararnos para nuestra nueva unidad de acuarela del Día del Folklore, ¡teníamos un reto de muffins!

Los estudiantes podían diseñar el muffin más divertido, creativo o realista. Después de compartir cuál les había gustado más, terminamos la actividad de la forma más dulce posible: disfrutando juntos de un muffin de verdad. ¡Arte delicioso y bocadillos deliciosos!
