The National Committee
for Development Education was established in 1994 under the auspices of Irish
Aid at the Department of Foreign Affairs. It aims to promote and support
Development Education in all sectors of Irish society through cooperation with organisations, schools and other institutions with an
involvement in education and/or learning. Among the projects supported are
development-related courses in the Equality Studies programme.

longitudinal survey of a representative sample of US individuals and the
families in which they reside. It has been ongoing since 1968. The data are
collected annually, and the data files contain the full span of information
collected over the course of the study. PSID data can be used for cross-
sectional, longitudinal, and intergenerational analysis and for studying both
individuals and families.
