The 2004 ASA Intercolegial has survived the rain! And what an event it has turned out to be! Congratulations to the athletes and organizers of the Intercolegial. At this time we are waiting to see how our boys and girls soccer team do in the finals. Go Gators!

__________AASSA Technology Conference:

Please note that I will be away from ASA this Wednesday through Friday to attend the AASSA Technology Conference in Lima, Peru. Mr. Krummell and Mr. Gallagher will also be representing ASA. Mr. Krummell will be our Virtual High School Site Coordinator next school year and will be focusing on training for this exciting program while in Lima, while Mr. Gallagher will be presenting, "Palms for Assessment Reporting; Using Easy Grade Pro to Create Paperless Assessment."

__________U.S. College Information Night

This event, for sophomores and their parents is scheduled for Monday March 22 from 7:00 to 8:15 pm in the MPR.  This presentation will cover issues like high school course selection, AP Program, college selection, application deadlines, admission requirements, and financial aid. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.

__________Model United Nations group to Rio MUN Conference:

8 of our High School students will travel with Mr. Anhut from March 23-29 to a Brazilian resort to take part in the 2004 AASSA MUN Conference, sponsored by EARJ of Rio de Janeiro. We wish our ASA representatives the best!

¡El Intercolegial del ASA 2004 ha sobrevivido a la lluvia! ¡Y que evento resultó ser! Felicitaciones a los atletas y organizadores del Intercolegial. En este momento estamos esperando ver cómo les va en las finales a nuestros chicos y chicas del equipo de fútbol. ¡Fuerza Gators!

__________Conferencia de Tecnología de AASSA:

Por favor tome en cuenta que yo estaré fuera del ASA desde este miércoles hasta el viernes para asistir a la Conferencia de Tecnología de AASSA en Lima, Perú. El Sr. Krummell y el Sr. Gallagher también estarán representando al ASA. El Sr. Krummell será nuestro Coordinador del Sitio Virtual de Escuela Superior, el próximo año escolar y se estará enfocando en entrenarse para este excitante programa en Lima, mientras que, el Sr. Gallagher estará presentando "Palms for Assessment Reporting; Using Easy Grade Pro to Create Paperless Assessment."

__________ Noche de Información Universitaria en los Estados Unidos

Este evento para alumnos del 10° grado y sus padres será el lunes 22 de marzo de 19:00 a 20:15 hs. en el Salón Multiuso. La presentación cubrirá temas como la selección de cursos en Escuela Superior, el Programa AP, la selección de universidades, fechas límites de aplicación, requisitos para la admisión y ayuda financiera. Habrá suficiente tiempo para preguntas y respuestas.

__________Modelos de Naciones Unidas, Grupo que irá a Río a la Conferencia MUN:

8 de nuestros estudiantes de Escuela Superior viajarán con el Sr. Anhut del 23-29 de marzo, a un recurso brasileño a formar parte de la Conferencia MUN AASSA 2004, patrocinado por EARJ de Río de Janeiro. ¡Les deseamos todo lo mejor a nuestros representantes del ASA!
