ASA Web Page Parental Consent Form

March 18, 2003

v1.3

The availability of Internet access throughout the world provides a significant opportunity for students and staff to contribute to ASA’s presence on the World Wide Web. Through its website, ASA endeavors to communicate its main beliefs as an academic institution. Carefully planning of core webpage components such as curriculum, mission, academic programs, and student accomplishments ensure that ASA’s activities and goals are publicized clearly and appropriately.

ASA continually makes an effort to present its staff and students in the most appropriate and educationally sound manner on the World Wide Web as well. This effort not only fosters professionalism and school spirit, it protects students by maintaining their need to remain anonymous. Only through clear and established agreed-upon standards will this effort be sustained. It is therefore the intent of this document to outline these standards and seek parental permission prior to the publication of student pictures or student work on the ASA website.
