We, the Technology Department at ASA, endeavor to foster the social and educational well-being of all students as well as ensure staff and teacher productivity. We are dedicated to implementing those hardware and software technologies and subject-grade technology-integration strategies which promote an optimal instructional and productive environment. Our belief in technology as a multi-faceted tool for all motivates us to remain well-informed of emerging developments and lead ASA in these applicable areas.

Clear and thoughtfully forged guidelines are needed to foster well-rounded students so that they may effectively meet and manage life's challenges, as well as ensure all technology users reach their academic and professional goals. Given these needs, ASA ascribes to those technology standards outlined by the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) and its own set of guidelines: user policies, web content policy, and computer use guidelines.
